Community Listening Session: Santa Clara County Urban Forest Master PlanThursday, July 17, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pmKlein Park, 395 Ortega Ave, Mountain View, CA
Join Canopy and the County of Santa Clara for a community listening session to help guide the development of the Santa Clara County Urban Forest Master Plan. Your participation will influence future decisions on urban greening, help identify areas needing more trees and canopy coverage, and support community health and biodiversity in Santa Clara County.
Participants can enjoy free refreshments and receive a free fruit tree on a first-come, first-serve basis!
We will meet by the Klein Park playground. If you're not able to attend but want to share your thoughts, take the 10-minute survey in English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.
Looking for a way to steward your local urban forest this summer? Participate in our Young Tree Care Survey (YTCS)!
Every summer, YTCS volunteers and Canopy staff explore Palo Alto’s neighborhoods to survey young street trees. Volunteers are given routes to assess if trees are getting enough water, mulch, and pruning and to note any damage. Contact [email protected] with questions.
