Corporate Team Building

Canopy organizes fun, outdoor team-building activities that make a positive environmental impact in our local communities. Planting and caring for trees is a meaningful way for your team to give back and connect with nature.

Companies can partner with Canopy to engage their employees in corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects led by Canopy staff. These projects include 3-4 hours of tree planting or tree care at a park, school or neighborhood in the Midpeninsula. The benefits for participating companies include:

Contribute to the growth of greener, healthier communities

  • Trees provide numerous environmental benefits including carbon sequestration, climate change mitigation, and improving air quality.

Bridge the “green gap” between Midpeninsula cities

  • Planting and caring for trees in communities with lower tree canopy cover helps increase access to nature for residents who need it the most.

Meaningful team building through nature

  • Canopy volunteer events are a fun, physical activity that brings employees together through nature. Planting and caring for trees in the cities where they work also helps to connect teams to the local community.
