The workshop will be taught in a hybrid format across two sessions—an online class and a hands-on fieldwork session.

In Session 1, topics covered include species-specific pruning, different types and styles of pruning, a detailed overview of pruning young trees, and more.

To qualify as a Canopy Pruning Leader, volunteers must complete both sessions and 10 hours of pruning practice with Canopy staff. For additional questions, please contact Indira Selvakumaraswamy, Volunteer Engagement Manager, at [email protected].
