Our Teen Urban Foresters (TUFs) were terrific planting leaders, and we are so grateful for the enthusiastic support of the KIPP Valiant community. We enjoyed being back planting on the Willow Oaks campus. Canopy added 8 @calfire-funded trees which are already busy doing the work of nature-based climate action! 🌳 @kippnorcal

Meet Evany Wang, Canopy's new community forestry c

Meet Evany Wang, Canopy's new community forestry coordinator working in Palo Alto and Mountain View. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, after which she became an AmeriCorps member, first assigned to @grassrootsecology in Palo Alto, then Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust in Seattle, WA. Before joining Canopy, Evany was a seasonal crew member with the Santa Lucia Conservancy, where she worked on invasive weeds management and fuel management. Please help us welcome Evany!
