Create Outdoor Equity: Tree Planning, Planting and Care
- Plant 230 new trees on seven school campuses in Palo Alto and East Palo Alto
- Provide tree care and monitoring for Canopy’s increasing inventory of young trees (1000+ trees)
- Engage EPA youth staff to care for trees
- Recruit community volunteers to participate in tree planting and tree care work days
Cultivate a New Generation of Environmentally Literate Kids
- Update school-based curriculum to increase its impact on kids
- Increase interactivity and experienced-based aspects of curriculum

Evaluate Innovative Irrigation Methods
- Assess the potential for large scale use of DriWater Pilot Project.
Engage Residents to Care for Their Trees
- Provide education to residents on:
- Selecting the right tree for the right place
- Planting trees for optimum health
- Caring for young trees and mature trees
