  • Urgent Tree Care Work Day - Stevens Creek Trail

    Saturday, August 5, 2017

Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Location: 141 E El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040

Earlier in the year Canopy teamed up with the City of Mountain View, Mountain View Trees, and Friends of Stevens Creek Trail (FOSCT) to plant over 80 trees along a stretch of Stevens Creek Trail in Mountain View. However, recently City staff has been shorthanded and unable to adequately mulch the trees. Join us in caring for these newly planted trees by spreading a thick layer of mulch around the base of each tree. A layer of mulch after the planting process helps tree establish and aids in water efficiency.

Park in the Smart and Final shopping Center on El Camino (between Grant Road and Hwy 85). From the east end of the parking lot (near Starbucks), you will be able to see event signs pointing you towards the planting location. Sign up here to volunteer.
