    Pruning trees early, during their first few years, is critical to the trees’ structure and vitality. Pruning volunteers: Come prune 16 trees with Canopy at the Palo Verde Elementary. Trees include: Southern Live Oak, Shumard Oak, and Persian Ironwood. Tools will be provided, although feel free to bring your sharpened hand pruners. To sign up email natalia@canopy.org .

    Part of Canopy’s 20th Anniversary Tree Walk Series. Spend an autumn morning with Canopy, an expert arborist, and an experienced photographer ambling through the Crescent Park neighborhood. We'll touch on the great height of the Tulip Tree, the prehistoric Maidenhair Tree, the Saucer Magnolia, Queen Palm, Australian Tea Tree, Dawn Redwood, Chinese Tallow Tree, and many more.
