Join Canopy and Hope Horizon for a special prayer breakfast bringing together pastors and faith leaders from across our community.
Over breakfast, we will pray, connect, and reflect on the vital role faith communities can play in Canopy’s 30th planting season – and in growing a healthier, more resilient urban forest together.
Following the breakfast, we invite you to stay after the breakfast to Celebrate Together, Canopy’s planting season kickoff and Latino Conservation Week celebration. Together, we will put faith into action by planting and caring for trees on the Hope Horizon campus.
Come help us plant the seeds of a more connected and flourishing community.

This is a volunteer event for high school youth.
Join Canopy and The Marine Mammal Center as we work together to support the environment in the Bay Area by caring for trees and participating in sheet mulching! Healthy trees improve the health of our communities by cleaning the air, providing habitat for wildlife, and reducing stormwater runoff that can carry pollution into the San Francisco Bay, helping to protect the marine mammals that call these waters home. We hope by the end of this event you will have a stronger understanding of the connection between healthy urban forests and healthy marine ecosystems and will have some goals for next steps to take on your conservation journey.

Join us and the Bubb community at Bubb Elementary School to continue our stewardship of the newly planted trees. With support from local nonprofit Canopy and the City of Mountain View, volunteers, staff, and families will be mulching the new tree grove to retain soil moisture, keep roots cool in summer and warm in winter, suppress weeds, protect against mower damage, and slowly add nutrients to the tree as it naturally breaks down. This is a youth-friendly education activity, too! See you there.
There will be pizza, snacks, and refreshments during this Thursday stewardship day.

In The Tree Collectors, Amy Stewart shares captivating stories and beautiful illustrations of people whose lives have been shaped and enriched by trees. Her work reminds us that trees do much more than grow; they spark curiosity, nourish connection, shelter communities, and create places where people and nature can flourish together.
Join Amy and Canopy for a joyful evening of trees, stories, and connection among old friends, new friends, and tree lovers of every kind.
Come for the stories and the trees. Leave inspired by what we can help flourish together.
