Development Operations Coordinator

Full-time, hybrid position based in Palo Alto, CA

The Development Operations Coordinator is a key member of Canopy’s development team, working closely with the Deputy Director, whose responsibilities include Canopy’s philanthropic and fundraising strategy and execution, and the Communications and Marketing Coordinator to advance the organization’s development operations. This role drives data integrity, event execution, donor engagement, and grant administration. The goal is to deepen relationships with the broad network of supporters who make Canopy’s work possible.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong project management and technical skills, a collaborative spirit and a genuine commitment to Canopy’s mission to collaborate with communities to grow and sustain equitable urban forests for all.

California Climate Action Corps Fellow

Hybrid fellowship position based in Palo Alto, CA

California Climate Actions Corps is recruiting now, and you can apply to be a fellow with Canopy!

The California Climate Action Corps are looking for passionate Californians (18+) who want to serve as California Climate Action Corps fellows for 11 months, leading climate action and volunteer engagement projects across the state. Fellows focus on urban greening, organic waste and edible food recovery and wildfire resiliency—especially in underserved regions throughout California.

California Climate Action Corps fellows earn up to $45,550 in living stipend, training support and money for school upon successful completion of 1,700 hours of service between September 21, 2026, and August 13, 2027.

Applications will open on May 1, 2026, and be accepted until July 31, 2026.
