During Drought, Smart Tree Care is a Critical Investment

MEDIA ADVISORY: As California’s drought intensifies and communities respond with much-needed water conservation measures, urban trees are at risk. Urban trees are the most valuable, lasting element of our green infrastructure. A mature tree that succumbs to drought takes decades to replace, whereas simple, conservative watering techniques used this summer can safeguard trees. 

Canopy and community honor local veterans through tree planting and tree care on VA Menlo Park campus
Canopy is honored to partner with the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System to provide much-needed tree care and replacement plantings on the ground’s of the VA’s Menlo Park facilities. The facility houses many of the VA’s recovery and rehabilitation programs. The trees on its campus offer a peaceful environment for service men and women who are healing. It’s one small way that we can give back to the men and women who have served our nation.
