Canopy’s work protecting the urban forest and educating its communities has been recognized by corporations and community organizations. We’re proud to have successful, long-lasting partnerships with an array of community groups, organizations and individuals. These active partnerships are the true roots of our success.
Canopy is the proud recipient of these commendations:
Canopy was honored and grateful to have our programs were recognized with a 2014 Silicon Valley Water Conservation Award. Canopy was awarded Stanford University’s 2012 Community Partnership Award for “tackling real world problems and advancing the public good in neighboring cities.” Read the Stanford announcement or see the awards ceremony video.
Each year the Palo Alto Weekly Holiday Fund facilitated by Silicon Valley Community Foundation raises money to support programs serving families and children in the Palo Alto area. Canopy was honored to be awarded a Holiday Fund grant in 2012. Over the last 18 years, the Holiday Fund has raised and distributed more than $4 million to local nonprofits that serve children, families, seniors and others.
Canopy received the The Tall Tree Award in 2008.
