Canopy Tree Awards
Every year, Canopy acknowledges selected community members through its Arnold Sofrenko Awards that recognize significant contributions to our local urban forest, Out-on-a-Limb Awards for outstanding urban forestry volunteer efforts and Young Forester Awards given to young persons who exemplify Canopy’s values of stewardship education and service.

Arnold Soforenko Awards:
Barrie D. Coate, for exemplary commitment to the community and a lifetime of service to the local urban forest.
The Hewlett Packard Historic Oak Tree Preservation Team, for preserving a historic oak tree at the entrance of Hewlett Packard World Headquarters and Executive Briefing Center and making the tree a centerpiece of the redesigned building.
